Job Overview
We are looking for a Nights Care Support Worker to work at our residential care home based in Heeley, S2.
Hours & Pay
33 hours per week, 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, including weekends (usually alternate) and bank holiday work. Pay: £12.91 per hour.
Induction & Training
All new team members are required to attend an induction at our training rooms in S13 or S3 before starting work in the care home. Induction sessions run every three weeks, starting on a Monday between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.

Job Role
* Support and assist residents to live as independently as possible
* Empower people to make their own decisions and choices
* Provide support with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, eating and drinking)
* Offer physical and emotional support to residents
* Help residents participate in daily living tasks and activities
* Encourage engagement in social and wellbeing activities
* Assist with health care and personal appointments
* Only where trained to do so, administer medication
* Undertake manual handling, using equipment when required
* Support positive relationships with residents, their families, colleagues and professionals
* Record care using mobile technology
