Grade 4, SCP 13-16 - £29,064 - £30,518
We are looking for a full-time Business Support and Customer Care Officer to work in Castle Point Borough Councils recreation team:
Key Skills and abilities
1. Organisational & Communication: Good organisational and communication skills.
2. Initiative & Prioritisation: Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise workload, make decisions under pressure, and respond well to new challenges.
3. Customer Service: Ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle difficult situations effectively.
4. Financial Handling: Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately and securely.
5. IT Competence: Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software and handheld technology.
6. Customer Focus: Ability to provide customer-focused services and build rapport.
7. Health & Safety: Practical knowledge of Health & Safety.
Experience
8. Customer Service: Prior customer service experience.
Any Other Desirable Experience
9. Recreational Knowledge: Understanding of recreational activities and services, including leisure centre programmes, community hall bookings, and park and open spaces programming.
10. Booking Systems: Knowledge of Recreational booking systems.
11. Administrative: Prior administrative experience.
12. Financial: Prior financial handling experience.
13. Community Engagement: Prior community engagement experience.
