Assistant Planning Manager

Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage project plans and MRPII material schedules, ensuring material availability while maintaining the delivery (MPS) output.
* Use Excel macros and tables for cost analysis to identify adjustments, budgeting, and proper journaling.
* Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achievement of project goals.
* Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, including IPTs, senior management, project managers, and team members.
* Review purchase requisitions for materials or services supporting projects or operations.
* Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
* Monitor project progress, measure performance against milestones, and make adjustments to stay on track.
* Identify and address anomalous data, maintaining best practices across functions.
* Resolve issues during project execution, making decisions aligned with project and company objectives.
* Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage challenges.
* Adjust plans flexibly in response to changing circumstances or unexpected developments.
* Study Bills of Material (BOM) for configuration management.
Experience required:
* Understanding of material requirements and management.
* Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
* Experience in planning, organizing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
* Proficiency in SAP and Excel for material planning and analysis.
* Ability to analyze data and performance metrics for decision-making and risk mitigation.
* Effective time management to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Flexibility to adapt plans to changing circumstances and priorities.
* Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Attention to detail in reviewing project plans and reports for accuracy.
* Confidence in decision-making based on thorough data analysis.
* Hold or be eligible for SC level security clearance.
