We have an excellent opportunity for an Instrument Designer to join our design team with one of our long-term clients, based in North Ayrshire. Contract or Permanent staff positions on offer! 2-3 days site and the rest home working.

Responsibilities
* Follow Engineer(s) guidance for implementation of client standards on projects
* Implement best practices from previous client projects
* Ensure all duties are carried out in line with all company policies and procedures
* Follow Engineer(s) guidance for project timelines & priority of tasks
* Identify to Engineers(s) any areas of technical expertise where support required
* Assist Instrument Engineers (and/or Electrical) to generate design calcs, schedules, docs & dwg sets
* Consult with Engineer(s) for checks and approval of all designs
* Signature Authority - limited to checking or generation of design drawings & docs, etc
* Supervision of support team, e.g. other Designers or CAD Operators
* Project Interaction with Doc Control - for external & internal project document transmittals
* Provide Support for project designs (relevant to experience) in following:
o Generation of Instrument Installation Design Drawing & Document sets
o Generation of Electrical Installation Design Drawing & Document sets
o Generation of Panel Design Drawing & Document sets
* Assist with design calculations, schedules, documents & other drawing sets
* Drawing Package expertise: AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
