This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of a close-knit team where quality workmanship, customer service, and long-term relationships are genuinely valued.If you take pride in fault-finding, problem-solving, and keeping machinery operating at its best, we'd love to hear from you.About the Role Working within our busy workshop, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of specialist construction equipment used across the plastering, rendering, and screeding sectors.Your duties will include:Servicing and repairing our hire fleet of specialist construction machineryDiagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faultsCarrying out repairs and maintenance on customer-owned equipmentPerforming safety inspections and ensuring machinery is ready for hireCompleting service records, inspection reports, and certification paperworkProviding occasional technical support and advice to customersSupporting site visits, breakdowns, or deliveries when requiredMaintaining a safe, clean, and organised workshop environmentYou'll work closely with the Workshop Manager and experienced colleagues, with the freedom to use your expertise rather than being tied to unnecessary corporate processes.What We're Looking For This is a role for an experienced engineer who can work independently and confidently diagnose faults.Ideally, you'll have:Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Service Engineer, or similarStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skillsExperience working on plant, construction equipment, industrial machinery, or similarA practical, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilityGood organisational and communication skillsA positive, team-oriented attitudeA commitment to delivering excellent customer serviceExperience within the plant hire, construction, agricultural, or industrial equipment sectors would be highly advantageous.What's On Offer?
