Duties as Food Studies Teacher: Plan and deliver creative and engaging Food Studies lessons. Support pupils in developing practical skills, including safe food handling and preparation. Maintain high standards of classroom organisation and practical equipment safety. Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school procedures. Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning. Promote a positive learning environment that supports pupil independence and confidence. Ideal Food Studies Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Food Studies and related practical disciplines.
