Position: School Leadership Administration Assistant Start Date: April-May 2026 Contract Type: Permanent – Green Book Terms and Conditions Pay: Grade: 5, SCP 7, FTE £26,403. Actual Salary- £17,350 Hours of Work: 28 hours per week, split over four days Monday-Friday (7 hours per day) Term Time only with an additional 6 days to cover training and inset. Location: Westwood College and Leek High School Line Manager: Head of School About the Role This is a key administrative role providing confidential, high‑quality support to the Head of School, Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body at Westwood College and Leek High School. You will oversee diary management, organise meetings and documentation, maintain essential records including those related to safeguarding and data protection, and coordinate the school’s marketing and external communications. The role involves clerking meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, producing leadership documentation, coordinating significant school events, and acting as a central point of contact for governors, external agencies and media enquiries. Your professionalism, organisation and attention to detail will help ensure the effective daily operation of the school and contribute to the wider success of our community.
