We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Food and Beverage Manager to lead our busy F&B operation and continue building on our reputation for quality, service, and provenance.
The Role:
As Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage service from breakfast through to evening dining, bar service, and private events. You'll manage a passionate team, drive excellent service standards, and work closely with the General Manager, Head Chef and senior management team to ensure smooth, profitable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage daily F&B operations including restaurant, bar, and events
· Ensure consistently high standards of customer service and presentation
· Lead and support front-of-house staff to deliver warm, attentive hospitality
· Train F&B staff in all aspects of service and standards
· Oversee stock control and ordering
· Drive revenue through upselling, local engagement, and effective cost control
· Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations are adhered to
· Act as a visible presence on the floor, especially during peak service times
Staff Training & Development:
We believe that great service starts with confident, well-supported staff. As Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in developing your team through regular training, coaching, and performance feedback. From training new staff members to refining service techniques, your leadership will ensure that every guest receives a consistently outstanding experience. You'll help foster a positive working culture where team members feel motivated, valued, and encouraged to grow.
About You:
Previous experience in a management role within a busy restaurant, hotel, or gastro pub is essential.
Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach
Passion for quality food, drink, and guest experience
Knowledge of Scottish produce and seasonal cooking trends is a bonus
Financial acumen – experience with budgets, stock control, and cost management
Calm under pressure and confident in a fast-paced service environment
Excellent communication and people skills
