This role is being recruited as part of a team expansion, possibly thanks to funding from The National Lottery. This is a key role in our team to help administrate and coordinate the delivery of a range of enterprise and community learning programmes, events, and activities. Additionally, you will aid with the organisation's expansion, growth, and sustainability in the long term. You will help build on our successful track record and impact to date, while supporting, delivering, and evaluating new initiatives to reach a wide range of people, partners, and communities, all with the goal of supporting diverse women changemakers and communities to create positive social change. The successful candidate will work alongside our Managing Director and a small team of Enterprise and Learning Managers, plus wider specialist delivery partners and associates, to administer, promote, and evaluate social and community enterprise support for the future, increasing our reach, impact, and sustainability to unlock latent talent and accelerate the growth of the social economy in Greater Manchester, the North West, and beyond.
About You
The ideal candidate will operate independently and conscientiously, using their own initiative, and be able to work remotely as well as on-site within our Flourish Hubs. Flourish Together is a fast-paced, creative, community-facing, and socially motivated organisation. We seek someone with energy, drive, focus, and shared values, experienced in the responsibilities outlined below. You should be responsive to individual and community needs, helping to evolve and execute our ambitious plans. Strong communication, operational, and event coordination skills with excellent interpersonal abilities are essential. A working knowledge of Xero accounting software would be advantageous.
Job Specification: Office/Administration & Hub Coordinator
* Office Administration: Manage daily operations, supplies, equipment, and facilities; coordinate with vendors; assist in creating and implementing administrative policies; support Directors with general affairs and Board meetings.
Website
* Assist with maintaining the website, creating and curating content, updating the Events page, and liaising with tools like Eventbrite, Canva, and MailerLite. Support web strategy and innovation.
Marketing
* Create marketing campaigns, promote programmes and activities, liaise with external agencies, develop social media campaigns, create marketing materials, maintain databases, monitor marketing effectiveness, and liaise with media for press releases.
Financial Systems
* Utilise Xero for financial transactions, manage ledgers, produce reports, raise invoices, process expenses, reconcile bank statements, assist with payroll, and communicate with accountants.
The Hub
* Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Stockport and Altrincham Hubs, manage bookings and payments, support events, oversee maintenance, ensure safety protocols, and achieve revenue targets.
Community Engagement and Network Building
* Act as liaison with the community, support events, and represent Flourish Together at local and strategic events.
Events
* Assist in planning and executing events, manage logistics, liaise with partners, and ensure seamless event delivery.
Communications
* Support relationship management with networks, create and disseminate newsletters, support team growth, and volunteer recruitment.
Additional reasonable tasks may be assigned to ensure smooth organisational operations.
