Level 3 Qualified (Full and Relevant) Early Years Practitioner – Full Time, All Year Round, Permanent Position
We are a newly opened early years setting and are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team on a full-time, all year-round, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will
* Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification (full and relevant) or higher
* Have experience working in an early years setting (minimum of 2 years preferred)
* Hold a Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate or be willing to obtain one
* Have a DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply
* Be caring, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and development
* Work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation
* Supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety at all times
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Supporting children's emotional well-being by offering comfort and encouragement
* Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and daily activities
* Assisting with the administration of daily routines such as nappies, feeding, and hygiene tasks
* Leading by example in behaviour management, demonstrating patience, kindness, and professionalism
* Contributing to team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions to enhance childcare practices
* Managing daily documentation related to children's development and activities
Skills
* Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings with a solid understanding of early childhood development principles
* Strong leadership and teamwork skills to support both children and colleagues effectively
* Excellent communication skills in English, capable of liaising confidently with parents, colleagues, and children
* Ability to organise activities that support individual needs whilst fostering group participation
* Childcare qualifications (Level 3 or relevant early childhood education credentials) required
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
* Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between multiple nursery locations or community engagement activities
