Located in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire it is visited by over 100,000 people per year who come to enjoy the house, parkland, castle and to see the ancient White Park Cattle in their ancestral home.Working predominately out of Home Farm, Llandeilo, we manage a herd of around 50 breeding stock and followers who in turn to help manage the historical landscape grassland features of the parkland. You’ll be joining a team of three Rangers/Farm Workers working in Dinefwr and management of the cattle and their day to day care will be at the heart of your role. You'll be hands-on supporting the Farm Manager to carry out welfare checks, calving, vaccinations, mucking out and bedding down. You will also link with the Area Ranger, Programming & Experience Manager, and the Garden and Outdoors Manager to discuss and implement our conservation grazing and hay meadow reversion projects and understand the calendar of visitors and site opening/events.You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached.
