About the Role:
Haringey Council is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Exams and MIS Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of examinations and the management of student data across our education services.
As an Exams and MIS Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records, coordinating examinations and assessments, and providing high-quality management information to support decision-making within the Councils education services
.
Key Responsibilities:
Organise, coordinate, and administer internal and external examinations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
Maintain and update student records within Management Information Systems (MIS) such as SIMS or equivalent systems.
Prepare management reports, statistical returns, and performance data as required.
Liaise with schools, colleges, exam boards, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of examinations and accurate reporting of results.
Support the implementation of MIS processes, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Provide guidance and training to colleagues on MIS and exam procedures where necessary.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Experience in managing examinations or assessments within an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of Management Information Systems (e.g., SIMS) and data management.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, schools, and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
