What you’ll be doing:
* Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store while actively participating in prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
* Occasionally, managing a full store operation independently overnight, taking responsibility for the entire shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
* Ensuring standards are maintained at a high level by morning to prepare the store for customer service.
* Managing people, including performance, capability, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and payroll.
Our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary (shifts typically run from 22:00 to 08:00).
What makes a great nightshift manager:
* Comfortable with nightshift work and adaptable to its physical and mental demands, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the team.
* Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational setting.
* Resilient to handle the mental and physical challenges of night work.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to coach a team to do the same.
* Experience in delivering and monitoring KPIs or similar performance metrics.
* Ability to manage disciplinary, performance, and employee relations issues.
* Capable of leading store operations independently in the absence of senior management.
