The Job As an SIA Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training across a range of SIA qualifications, including: Door Supervisor L2 and associated SIA License CCTV Operator L2 and associated SIA License Award in Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry Award for CCTV Operators in the Private Security Industry Emergency First Aid at Work L3 Embedding K9 Dog Handling as added value Your role will also involve: Delivering functional skills up to Level 2 alongside SIA training. Supporting learners through engaging teaching, assessment, and meaningful feedback. Meeting learner engagement strategies, monthly targets, and KPIs. Ensuring compliance with Ofsted, Matrix, and company policies. Providing Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to learners throughout their course. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of learner experience. Ideal Candidate To be successful in this role, you will need to: Hold a Level 3 qualification or have substantial professional experience in SIA. Hold (or be willing to work towards) a recognised teaching qualification. Hold Maths & English qualifications at Level 2 or above. Have strong communication skills, both written and oral. Bring industry knowledge and a learner-focused approach to teaching. Be inclusive, adaptable, and committed to supporting learners of all abilities. It would be a bonus if you also: Have experience using e-portfolios (ideally OneFile). Hold or are working towards an IAG Level 2 qualification. Have experience of Ofsted inspections.
