What you'll do
* Perform TIG (141) welding on aluminium and stainless steel, including armoured fabrications
* Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
* Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and effectively
* Conduct visual inspection of welds to BS EN ISO 17673:2016 standards
* Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Continue internal and external training to maintain qualification to BS EN ISO 9606
What you'll bring
Essential:
* Proven experience with TIG (141) welding aluminium and/or stainless steel
* Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9606 welder qualifications
* Experience working to certified or highly regulated standards
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances
* Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
* Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Motorsport, or similar industries
* Understanding of welding quality standards (BS EN ISO 3834-2, BS EN, DIN 2303 Q2)
* Previous coding to ISO 9606-1/2 (or equivalent such as ASME IX, AWS D17.1)
* NVQ/City & Guilds in welding, fabrication, or a relevant engineering subject
* CSWIP 3.0 or PCN (VT) Level 1
