I am working with a well-established manufacturing organisation who are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Your duties as a Purchasing Manager will include but not be limited to:
* Leading stock control, accuracy and meet both internal and external purchasing needs
* Oversee and design the delivery of stock management
* Ensuring all goods in and materials are received, controlled and transported to meet customer demand
* Oversee your reporting team’s compliance from purchase order to sold, on day to day supply chain
* Promote day-to-day safety culture
* Ensure supply chain costs are maintained within the set budget, less than 40% cost of sales
* Bought in goods and materials cycle performance >95% accuracy
* Implement staff training and development plans
* Carry out individual performance reviews with your reporting teams
* Promote and lead by example in line with company values/behaviours
If you feel as though you can carry out the above duties as a Purchasing Manager, you will likely have:
* Ideally you will have CIPS Qualification or relevant work experience
* Ideally you will have manufacturing industry experience
* This role would suit a Purchase manager/procurement manager/senior buyer looking to make the next step in their career
