Senior Factory Supervisor
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Heartlands Business Park, Daventry

We're looking for a Senior Factory Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations on the production floor to ensure efficient and safe chemical manufacturing and despatch processes.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the chemical manufacturing process, ensuring that production targets are met within quality, safety, and cost parameters.
* Lead and supervise a team of Production and Despatch Operatives, providing guidance and performance evaluations to foster continuous improvement and professional development.
* Analyse manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvements in safety, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction, working with the technical team to implement process enhancements.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements as well as company policies.
* Address and resolve operational issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to minimise downtime, working with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritise repairs.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a batch manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience in managing production teams and optimising manufacturing processes.
* Certification in Safety Management or Process Improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is advantageous.
* Experience of working with chemicals would be advantageous.
