Who we need
We are looking for a Learning & Skills Assessor to join our EMTEC team. Successful applicants will undertake workplace visits both in person and online, supporting automotive apprentices regionally and nationally. Responsibilities include:
* Enrolling new apprentices onto the programme
* Conducting Progress Reviews with apprentices and employers
* Collaborating with the college's Technical Training Team
* Supporting apprentices' mentors in their roles
* Maintaining KPIs according to apprenticeship funding rules
* Developing employer relations and engaging in business development
What you'll bring
You will be a dynamic, forward-thinking individual providing high-quality support to apprentices and employers. Essential qualities include:
* Exceptional communication skills across all levels
* Strong organisational skills to manage your diary and caseload
* Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
* Proficiency in ICT, especially Microsoft 365 and OneFile (advantageous)
* Attention to detail to ensure compliance with funding rules
* Relevant qualifications: CAVA/A1/D32 D33, V1/D34, AET/PTLLS, or willingness to obtain
* Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
