Main duties of the job
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of capital projects, from feasibility to completion and handover within Estate Maintenance Directorate
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Liaise with internal departments, clinical teams, contractors, and external consultants.
• Prepare business cases, procurement documentation, project plans, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory building engineering regulations and NHS guidelines.
• Contribute to sustainability goals and ensure projects meet environmental standards.

1. A degree in Building, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Desirable criteria
2. Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB, APM)
Experience

3. Substantial experience in managing construction or refurbishment projects within a healthcare or complex environment.

4. NHS or public sector project management experience.
