Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in a school setting?
GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Psychology Graduates to work in schools across Newcastle Upon Tyne.
As a Psychology Graduate, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support students with a range of needs, helping them to engage with learning and develop positive behaviours. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate who is looking to build experience in education, child psychology, or mental health support.
Responsibilities of a Psychology Graduate:
* Provide one‑to‑one and small group support to students
* Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
* Assist in managing behaviour and promoting positive engagement
* Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored support strategies
* Help students overcome barriers to learning and participation
* Support students’ emotional wellbeing and confidence
* Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour
* Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Psychology Graduate Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology or a related field
* Interest in working with children, young people, or mental health
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Experience in education, care, or support roles is desirable
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
