With our ongoing growth and company expansion we have a position for Sign Maker which has an immediate start for the right applicant.
DISCOUNT VEHICLE LETTERING COMPANY are specialist sign makers to the motor trade. We are looking for a full-time Sign Maker to join our friendly, customer focused team in our Washington premises.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and experienced. You will be responsible for manufacturing of our vehicle graphics and showroom / forecourt point of sale products. You will be operating Vinyl Plotters, Large Format Digital Printers, Digital Cutting Tables, Flatbed Applicator Tables and other machinery as required. (Knowledge of all the above equipment is not essential as training is provided.)
Duties Include:
* Setting up print and cut files
* Operating vinyl plotters, large format printers, digital cutting tables and other equipment
* Quality control throughout the manufacturing process
* Weeding and taping of cut vinyl graphics
* Printing and finishing of point of sale products
* Fitting produced graphics to signage substrates in-house
* Checking / collating finished jobs prior to going into dispatch
* Working within the dispatch department packing customer's orders
* And other day to day duties
Preferred experience:
* Use of a vinyl plotter
* Use of a large format digital printer
* Application of vinyl graphics to signage substrates
Must have experience:
* Working within the Sign or Print Industry
Days and hours of work:
Your normal hours of work will be an 8-hour shift between the Company's business hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm, Mondays to Fridays, inclusive of an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes.
Paid overtime during busy periods is available.

Pay: From £28,080.00 per year
