Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, stocks, GP, labour costs, HACCP and COSHH
* Input into menu creation, helping to create seasonal specials and amendments to menus to increase sales and profits.
* Recruit, coach and train a top-class kitchen team.
* Enforce excellent food hygiene and health & safety practices to gain and maintain a strong food hygiene rating from the off.
* Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and innovation to ensure we stay ahead of the game.
* Ensure high standards of food quality at all times, paying special attention to detail to ensure that all dishes are delivered according to spec.
* Work alongside the Front of House Manager to deliver a smooth-running kitchen and the implementation, evolution and ongoing improvement of standards and profitability.
