Global Components (UK) Ltd was established in October 2002, as a leading supplier of key components for the bedding and upholstery industry. We offer cost-effective, innovative, and quality products along with excellent service to the bedding and furniture sectors. In 2014, we invested significantly in a larger warehousing facility based in Ossett, West Yorkshire.
Our new site spans almost 80,000 SQ FT and includes extensive warehousing for our range of products, which include mattress components, Divan components, Headboard components, upholstery fabrics, mattress ticking, and covers. We also provide high-quality, cost-effective packaging solutions to protect furniture and bedding products during storage and transportation, such as mattress bags, corner protectors, tapes, and boxes.
We collaborate with international partners to supply a wide range of high-quality products at competitive prices. Our own fleet of vehicles ensures we meet delivery expectations and production schedules. We aim to provide first-class service and competitive pricing to meet your requirements.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the furniture or bedding industry, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to lead a sales team to achieve company goals. As the National Sales Manager, you will develop sales strategies, manage a team, and expand our market presence within the B2B segment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share, maximize growth, and achieve revenue targets for bed products.
* Lead and manage the sales team, providing training, direction, and performance evaluations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including wholesalers, retailers, hotels, resorts, and direct consumers.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing and untapped markets.
* Monitor sales performance and create reports for senior management, analyzing trends and market conditions.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
* Coordinate with production, inventory, and marketing teams to ensure order fulfillment and promotional activities.
* Conduct meetings, product presentations, and negotiations to meet sales targets and margins.
* Gather customer feedback for product and service improvements and work with product development.
* Manage the sales budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with sales goals and KPIs.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, preferably in the bedding or furniture industry.
* Strong knowledge of bedding products, including mattresses, bed frames, and accessories.
* Successful track record in sales management, meeting or exceeding targets.
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyze market data and trends.
* Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales tools.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
* Strong problem-solving and customer-focused decision-making skills.
