Role Overview: As a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment that promotes learning through play and exploration. You will work closely with children, staff, and parents to support individual development and ensure high-quality early years education. Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social development. Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining detailed records. Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan engaging activities. Foster strong relationships with parents and carers. Requirements for Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education. A warm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children. Knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS framework. Previous experience in a nursery or early years classroom is desirable. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and an up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained).
