The Role

Milford Hall Hotel Salisbury — soon to be voco Salisbury — is looking for a confident and strategic Director of Sales to lead our commercial efforts. This is an exciting time to join as we transition to the IHG voco brand, bringing a fresh, stylish experience to Salisbury’s hotel scene.
This full-time role is a key position at Milford Hall Hotel, operated by Brightstar Hospitality, a UK-based company known for excellence across its portfolio.
In this role, you will manage and execute the sales strategy, lead business development, and focus on securing corporate, MICE, and group business to drive revenue. Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy: Lead the creation and delivery of sales strategies for corporate, group, and MICE segments.
* Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities, maintain a sales pipeline, and conduct presentations.
* Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring excellent service and repeat business.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and support the sales team, ensuring alignment with hotel operations.
* Market Awareness: Monitor competitors and stay updated on market trends.
* Reporting & Performance Analysis: Prepare sales reports, track KPIs, and analyze performance for continuous improvement.

We seek someone who:
* Has proven experience in senior sales leadership within hospitality, especially with corporate and MICE sales.
* Has a strong record of exceeding sales targets.

* Is commercially savvy with UK hospitality market knowledge.
* Proficient in CRM, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
