What You’ll Do
* Support young people with daily routines – getting ready for school, prepping for meal times, planning activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
* Lead shift and deputise home manager.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
Hay Park is a registered residential care home for young people up to 18 years old with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. Staff receive training to meet each child’s needs. The home aims to provide outstanding individualised care packages in a homely and supportive environment.
Who You Are
* Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager – focused on achieving outcomes for others.
* Driver with full UK driving licence.
* Holder a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and two years working experience in a residential setting.
