We are expanding and seeking a skilled Restorer to join our dedicated Heritage Division, with immediate starts available. This role offers the opportunity to work on notable heritage projects focused on the restoration, conservation, and remedial repair of historic brick, stone, and stucco façades, as well as the refurbishment and alteration of listed buildings.

About the Role
This position involves working on a diverse range of heritage sites performing tasks such as:
* All lime mortar brickwork pointing styles, including weatherstruck, flush, and penny roll; tuckpointing experience is desirable but not required
* Restoration activities including brick replacements, in-situ mortar repairs, structural repairs, and rebuilding of damaged brickwork
* Stonework restoration, including stone replacements, indent and mortar repairs, repointing ashlar stones, profiled repairs, and occasional stone carving
* Stucco restoration, covering both plain and rusticated repairs, replacements, and fabrication of new decorative moulded stucco elements like cornices, bands, and window/door surrounds
* Assisting with condition surveys and reports to help identify repair requirements
* Reviewing and executing works based on technical drawings and specifications, raising queries for clarification if needed

Applicants should have a strong passion for restoration craftsmanship, with a focus on attention to detail and quality. Candidates must be hardworking, organized, dependable, and responsive to instructions, in addition to demonstrating excellent communication and time management skills. Responsibilities include maintaining company tools and ensuring safe working conditions, with effective communication between clients, staff, and tradespeople on-site.
