Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload packages and products from the van
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery and any discrepancies
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift packages and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus
