Support Worker - Safe House for Male Survivors of Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery
Location: Newcastle City Centre
Hours: Full-time (1 weekend in 3)
Rate: £13-£17 per hour (depending on pay status)
Start Date: ASAP | Potential for Temp-to-Perm

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing one-to-one support within a safe house setting
- Managing a caseload and guiding clients through the Criminal Justice System
- Assisting with asylum and residency applications, liaising with the Home Office & Immigration services
- Supporting clients with housing, benefits, mental health, training, and community integration
- Helping survivors secure financial stability, access healthcare, and reintegrate into society
- Working closely with external agencies to ensure clients receive holistic, trauma-informed support
What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting vulnerable individuals (ideally survivors of abuse, trafficking, homelessness, mental health, or refugees)
Knowledge of risk assessments, support planning, safeguarding, and housing/immigration services
Enhanced DBS (issued in the last 12 months or registered on the Update Service)
Supporting Futures Consulting acts as both an employer and an agency.
