About the Role: - Support a young learner with emotional regulation and identifying early triggers - Gradually re‑engage him with learning through staggered, low‑pressure sessions - Build trust with a child who has experienced PEX and significant anxiety in school - Plan and deliver KS1 curriculum in a calm, structured way - Use play‑based approaches, visuals, routines and co‑regulation strategies - Support social communication skills (turn‑taking, expressive language, transitions) - Help him feel emotionally safe, regulated, and ready to learn Learner Profile: - Year 1, requires adult co‑regulation and strong relational support - Anxiety linked to social communication difficulties - Highly reliant on adults for emotional safety (home & school) - Struggles with group dynamics, transitions, and rule‑bound behaviour - Needs a tutor who can re‑engage him slowly and gently Details: - £25-£30 per hour - Must have at least 6 months' experience in a UK‑based education setting - Must be confident planning KS1 lessons - Experience with SEMH / dysregulation / early years communication essential - Looking for someone calm, patient, and nurturing with strong re‑en...
