Robert Half is supporting a client in the search for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Alternatives workstream within a large-scale data uplift programme at a leading investment organisation.
This role sits within a business-critical transformation initiative designed to strengthen the firm’s data foundations, modernise controls, and enhance the overall governance of structured and unstructured data.
Key Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
* Strong Change Management expertise – able to drive delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
* Significant experience working with Alternatives data (e.g., private markets, private equity, private credit, real assets, hedge funds, or alternatives operations).
* Data transformation experience – including data governance, data quality, control uplift, lineage, ownership models, or metadata frameworks.
Role Overview
You will lead the Alternatives-focused workstream, working closely with data, investment, operations, and risk teams to:
* Govern and uplift data relating to alternatives portfolios.
* Address high-priority data challenges, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.
* Establish robust ownership structures and embed enhanced governance frameworks.
* Modernise data controls and drive process optimisation across the lifecycle.
The overarching objective is to remediate legacy deficiencies and deliver an improved, resilient, and future-ready data environment that supports the firm’s Alternatives business for the long term.
