Michaeljohn Training School is an Apprenticeship Training Provider specialising in delivery of Hairdressing and Barbering Apprenticeships. We have ambitious expansion plans for 2023 and require a passionate and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our successful team. A proven background in sales and meeting targets is essential.
Established in our sector for 41 years, we deliver Apprenticeship level 2/3 Standards Qualifications in partnership with over 250 employers across Greater Manchester. Based in the Northern Quarter of the City Centre we are a reputable provider, well respected within the industry and training sector, driven to deliver the best education for our learners and employers.
Purpose of the role:
* Source new apprenticeship employment opportunities across Greater Manchester and increase the number of employers engaged with the company and its apprenticeship services.
* Source new applicants/candidates for apprenticeship vacancies across Greater Manchester.
* Successfully match candidates to apprenticeship vacancies, and coordinate interviews with employers and candidates.
* Strategically develop apprenticeship employment opportunities, utilising labour market intelligence and ensure targets are met and exceeded.
* Develop successful and lasting relationships with employers, and provide continuous support to employers throughout apprentices 'learning journey'.
* Develop successful relationships with partnership organisations and careers services, increasing the number of applicants to apprenticeship opportunities.
* From entry to exit (and graduate learners upon achievement) provide information, career advice and guidance throughout learner programmes.
* Support regional and national priorities of partnership working and development for marketing and recruitment purposes.
* Ensure regional partnerships and stakeholders are engaged in recruitment and candidate matching, including the sharing of data to ensure government priorities are met.
The ideal applicant will be an experienced recruitment professional, with demonstrable experience in sales and meeting targets. The department is a fast paced sales environment, the ability to thrive under pressure is essential.
The role is part time, days to be confirmed.
£21,500 pro Rota.
The role is based is at the MJTS site however, some travel across Greater Manchester maybe required from time to time for business development and networking purposes, travel expenses are paid.
