Job Role: Assistant Psychologist
The Assistant Psychologist will work across all services provided by Liberty Care, depending on the clinical needs of individuals at any given time. This role involves working with individuals who present with significant behaviors that challenge or mental health difficulties within Liberty Care.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking psychological assessments and interventions under the supervision of the clinical psychologist.
2. Supporting the Clinical Psychologist and other staff in teaching and training activities.
3. Supporting research, service evaluation, and audits relevant to clinical practice.
4. Providing leadership on one shift per week, offering direct care and support to individuals with complex needs.
5. Carrying out additional duties as agreed with Clinical Psychologist Managers.
