Lancashire County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 8XJ.
Salary
£97,330 – £106,628.
Working Hours
37 hours per week.

Permanent.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Direct the work of the public health team.
* Act as the strategic lead for the portfolio across Lancashire.
* Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team within the council.
* Collaborate with public health colleagues, council directorates, the Integrated Care Board, NHS, district councils and voluntary sector.
* Establish and maintain working relationships and understand the context of services that impact health and health inequalities.
Service Focus
* Role 1 – Health Protection and Health Intelligence.
* Role 2 – Health Improvement.
Requirements
* Registered with GMC / GDC Specialist Register / UK Public Health Register (UKPHR).
* Proficient technical capability and proven system leadership.
* Committed to tackling health inequalities.
* Strong relationship‑managing and negotiation skills across diverse organisations.
* Leadership ability to contribute to a dynamic public health team.
