An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, motivated individual to join our award-winning Maternity Services team at NHS Fife.
We are looking to recruit a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker on a fixed term basis to support the delivery of high-quality antenatal care within the Antenatal Clinic (ANC) at Queen Margaret Hospital.
The ANC plays a vital role in supporting women throughout their pregnancy journey, and this post is key to ensuring the smooth running of clinics and specialist services. You will work closely with midwives, obstetricians, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the day-to-day flow of the antenatal clinic.
Maintaining clinical equipment and stock levels to ensure readiness and safety.
Providing clinical care to ensure women receive care in line with national guidance.
We are looking for someone who is:
Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical environment.
A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.
Passionate about maternity care and eager to contribute to a service recognised for excellence.
Experience in a maternity or clinical setting is desirable but not essential, training and support will be available to orientate you to the role.

This is a fixed-term post to cover study leave, with various part-time hours available for the successful candidate until July 2026
