Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 1 Teacher will: lead systematic phonics, guided reading and sequenced writing as the Year 1 Teacher; design practical early maths and continuous provision as the Year 1 Teacher; use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions as the Year 1 Teacher. The Year 1 Teacher will prepare transition work for families, contribute to moderation activities and attend phase meetings before January 2026 and after January 2026. Year 1 Teacher Requirements
We seek a Year 1 Teacher with QTS (or equivalent), strong KS1 practice and confident phonics delivery. Availability for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and a Full-Time start from January 2026 is essential.
