As this is a manufacturing setting, the successful candidate would be required to work on site. Whilst working on site, you will have opportunity to take advantage of our fantastic canteen, offering hot foods at a discounted price, or you could even pick up one of our freshly made sandwiches

The Administrators will do a range of tasks around current and potential new customers. The two roles are slightly different with a requirement for strong admin and organisational skills in both.

This is a full position working Monday – Friday and also working on an on-call basis 1 weekend out of 4 (in exchange for a day off during the week). If you have experience working in a customer service role, dealing with customers on the phone as well as being able to report, and include data input, into various Excel spreadsheets, then this could be the role for you

What you will be doing

* Answering incoming calls and taking new enquiries
* Liaising with customers as well as across in-house teams to ensure consistency, accuracy and quality of orders
* Perform checks on paperwork for production, ensuring that labels are completed as required
* Ensure that deadlines are met, from receipt of order to production
* Responding to any questions or queries customers have, either on the phone or via email or web chat
* Routinely checking on customers by regular monitoring of order status and sales data across the year
* Supporting the sales team by suggesting products to help boost sales and liaising with customers to organise tasting days
* Customer visits and attendance at trade shows may be required
* Contacting customers about new products and anything they might be interested in
* Arranging samples for new or existing customers depending on role within the office
* Setting up customers on internal systems, ensuring they have their account forms filled out and all departments are kept informed
* Assisting the team take orders and checking new customer orders
* May be required to attend onsite meetings whether internal or with new or existing customers
* Provide support with social media posts and information for the website and responding to any queries that are received via these platforms
* Ensure that all customer orders are input into our software, whilst also using Excel check sheets
* Proof read product orders, reporting any anomalies and taking corrective actions
* Assist our reception team with answering the telephone and receiving visitors, where required

About you

* Previous experience of working in sales or an administration position
* Prior experience of dealing with customers via phone or on line
* Ability to work on an individual basis and within a team
* Confidence in using Microsoft products, in particular excel spreadsheets
* Experience of using CRMs/ online ordering systems would be an advantage
* Candidates must be flexible, hard-working and possess a positive attitude to work
* Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment is essential
* Ability to plan and prioritise work to meet strict deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
