About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, GPhC registered pharmacy technician to join the growing primary care pharmacotherapy team working within Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership (ACHSCP).
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of the pharmacotherapy service outlined in the 2018 GMS Contract for Scotland.
* Conduct medication compliance reviews.
* Deal with pharmaceutical queries, including shortages.
* Perform medicines reconciliation.
* Provide medication management advice to patients and carers.
* Work on various aspects of medicines management to ensure safe and effective use of medicines in line with local and national guidelines, including formulary adherence and review of prescribing data.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered with the GPhC (mandatory).
* Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
* Full driving licence and use of a car.
* Previous experience in primary care, community or hospital pharmacy is desirable.
Working Hours
Full-time hours: currently 37 hours per week (reducing to 36 hours per week from 1st April 2026). Part-time: minimum of 3 days (22.2 hours) per week currently, reducing to 21.6 hours per week from 1st April 2026.
