Our client is seeking a People Operations Team Leader to join their small but friendly team to help manage the HR Shared Service system. Our client is a Housing Organisation with over 4,000 staff members based throughout the region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys coaching others, improving processes, and delivering a service that truly adds value for the business.
Your new role
1. Leading, coaching, and developing a small team, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
2. Overseeing people-related queries and supporting your team with moreplex issues.
3. Providing second-line HR advice to colleagues and managers, helping them navigate policies and processes confidently.
4. Managing a caseload of employment-related queries and identifying opportunities to drive improvements.
5. Using data and workload metrics to plan resources, monitor SLAs, identify trends, and improve service delivery.
6. Acting as the key connector between People Operations, People Relations, and Strategic Partnering teams.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Ideally CIPD Level 5 Qualified
8. HR Shared Service experience
9. Experience advising managers on HR matters
10. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
11. Experience using HR systems and improving processes
What you'll get in return
12. £43,000 salary per annum
13. Hybrid working (3 days a week on site)
14. 35 hours per week (9am–5pm)
