We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a team. In this role, you will inspire students to develop a love for English language and literature, delivering engaging lessons that support pupils in building strong reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills. You will plan and teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for KS5 if applicable. Beginning September 2025. Duties as English Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to a range of abilities. Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and progress. Assess, monitor and report on student progress and attainment. Contribute to the development of the English department and wider school life. Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, effort and achievement. Ideal English Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Have excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English.
