Mental Health Nurse - HYBRID WORKING Contract Type: Permanent Location: Blackpool - 3 days on-site and 2 remote days Hours: 1x 37 hours/week 1x 18.5 hours/week Alternatively, 2x 27.75 hours/week Salary: £44,428 - £48,474 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) Join our Occupational Health team as a Mental Health Practitioner, providing essential therapy and mental health support within an Occupational Health setting. This role is crucial for developing mental health services and offering guidance on workplace adjustments and mental health wellbeing to both employees and managers. Day-to-day of the role: Develop mental health provision within the Occupational Health Service, including pathways of care for individual and group therapy. Undertake consultations and provide therapy, adhering to NICE guidelines, to manage your own caseload effectively. Develop and deliver Mental Health Awareness training sessions and contribute to the "Looking after your mental health" agenda. Provide written reports following consultations, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with professional standards. Engage in continuous professional development to maintain registration with NMC and other relevant bodies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Registered Nurse Mental Health with current registration and revalidation with the NMC. Accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, or working towards completion within 6 months. Accredited qualification in cognitive behavioural therapy is desirable. Substantial knowledge of mental health nursing and training in safeguarding, risk assessment, and management. Excellent clinical history taking, report writing, and communication skills. Experience in mental health nursing within NHS and non-NHS settings, and in delivering various therapy techniques appropriate for a workplace setting.
