Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team! We are looking for a highly organised and proactive team player who’s as passionate about people as we are, with an eye for detail and superb people skills. The role will be to support all things people - from recruitment and onboarding, to training and development and everything in between. Previous experience in a similar role within the animation industry is preferable but not essential as training will be given. The ideal candidate will align with our values of putting people first.

Responsibilities
* Work closely with the production team over recruitment related activities, including drafting job descriptions and adverts, organising interviews
* Ensure internal training is completed across the business
* Provide solutions and support to Line Managers with regards to employment relations, developing managers to have a wider understanding of HR polices
* Work alongside Business Operations Manager and Studio Assistant to monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire) and potential succession planning
* Ensure that company policies are current and in line with latest employment legislation
* Manage contracts for all employees and amend where necessary, with a keen eye for detail
* Lead the onboarding process of new employees and contractors, ensuring that contracts are sent in a timely manner
* Leading the offboarding process for all employees and contractors
* Liaising with the tech and production teams to ensure that all hardware and software needs are met as part of onboarding and offboarding
* Work with the Operations and Production teams to manage employee engagement, compensation and benefits, talent management, and HR information systems
* Assisting with the culture side of the company including event management and social initiatives
Skills
* Working effectively under pressure
* Self-starter and adaptable to shifting priorities within the business
* Being agile in providing support and guidance when working with seniors and line managers and confident liaising with different levels of management
* High level of confidentiality, trust and integrity
* Oversight of internal communications and procedures
* Good understanding of Employment Law
* Understanding of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
* Working experience of HR practices, procedures, systems and employment legislation
* A passion for people and making the working environment a safe and healthy place to be
Nice to have
* Experience of recruiting in the DEI space
* Experience of working in an SME environment
* Knowledge of / experience working in the animation industry or a similar creative background
* Minimum 2 years experience
* CIPD Level 3 Qualification
