Scotstream Limited are an industry leading specialist in the supply and installation of Louvre, Brise Soleil and Smoke Ventilation Systems within all sectors of the Construction Industry, mainly in Scotland with occasional projects further afield within the UK.
We are looking for a CAD Designer to join our existing team. The successful candidate will assist our current team with the efficient execution of our expanding order book.
The role will be multi-skilled with other duties and responsibilities including estimating, procurement, project management and aftercare.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long established and highly respected company in its sector. The successful candidate will have preferably been in a similar role, have experience of CAD and an understanding of the Construction Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Production of 2D CAD drawings for approval.
* Carry out site survey of structure in relation to our works.
* Production of fabrication drawings and schedules.
* Undertake design team meetings on a project specific basis.
* Liaise with Scotstream management, Main Contractors and associated trades to achieve successful project delivery.
* To have ability to read and understand construction, fabrication and installation drawings.
* To possess a polite manner and the ability to communicate with colleagues and clients in a respectful manner.
* To co-ordinate site delivery of materials and access equipment relevant to allocated projects.
* Overseeing of site installations
Key Requirements:
* Current UK driving License.
* HNC/HND in CAD, Engineering or similar
* Good Communication skills.
* Excellent Customer Care Skills.
* Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office
