About the Role
Falkirk Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our Property Services Team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across council properties. Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with current regulations (BS ).
2. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely.
3. Conduct electrical testing and inspections, producing relevant certification.
4. Collaborate with other trades and council staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
5. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
6. Provide excellent customer service to tenants, staff, and stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for a qualified electrician with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high standards. You should have:
7. A recognised electrical apprenticeship (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
8. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
9. Experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and installation work.
10. Knowledge of health and safety practices in a construction or maintenance environment.
11. A full UK driving licence (essential).
12. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
13. Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
