We're currently looking for a Shift Electrician to work within a hospital environment in Stone, Kent
We are seeking a Shift Electrician to join our facilities team within a busy hospital in Stone, Kent. This is a crucial role ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across the site. You will be responsible for planned preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
You Wil be working within a small team of engineers, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the hospital
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
2. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
3. Ensure compliance with hospital and safety guidelines
4. Work with the estates and facilities team to support smooth operational delivery
5. Maintain accurate records of work completed
6. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
Requirements
7. Gold JIB ECS Card (Essential)
8. Experience working within hospitals or a commercial environment
9. Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work within a team environment
10. Excellent communication skills
This position would suit someone local, who is perhaps looking for a stable role whilst having the flexibility to work around home life and perhaps carry out private work
This is a temporary to permanent position with overtime available for the right person
