Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester Required in Cannock.
1. Basic Salary: £31,000 - £36,000 (depending on experience/level)
2. OTE: £38,000 - £48,000+ (uncapped bonus)
3. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (No Weekends)
4. Overtime: Paid at time and a half
Our client, a well-established and reputable Main Dealer based in Cannock, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join their busy workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable position with strong earning potential and ongoing training.
Duties of a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester with our client:
5. Carry out MOT tests and re-tests in line with DVSA regulations
6. Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
7. Conduct diagnostics and fault finding on a range of vehicles
8. Complete all associated paperwork accurately and efficiently
9. Carry out pre-delivery inspections and vehicle preparation
10. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
11. Liaise with customers when required regarding vehicle work.
What our client is looking for in a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester:
12. Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
13. Valid MOT Tester Licence
14. Full UK Driving Licence
15. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
16. A motivated and reliable team player with a high attention to detail
