We are seeking a talented and passionate Banqueting Chef to join our dynamic team in Swansea. Duties
* Prepare and present high-quality dishes for banquets and events, adhering to menu specifications.
* Collaborate with the catering team to design menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
* Ensure all food safety regulations are followed meticulously during food preparation and serving.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
* Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
* Provide excellent guest services by responding to requests and feedback promptly and professionally.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing culinary techniques and best practices.
Skills
* Proven experience in hospitality, particularly within a catering or restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
* Excellent culinary skills with a flair for presentation and creativity in dish design.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
* Previous experience in hotel settings is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and guest interaction.
