Train Locksmiths Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team. We're looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, creativity, and a positive attitude to help drive the company's growth. If you're ready to contribute to our team and be part of our continued success, we want to hear from you please note this is a part time position (20 hrs) with a view to increase for maternity cover to full time.
About Us
At Train Locksmiths Ltd, we specialise in locksmith and auto-locksmith training, catering to students from across the UK and beyond. We take individuals with little to no experience and help them become fully qualified and skilled locksmiths.
In addition to training, we also supply tools, equipment, and stock at discounted prices to our students, both during and after their courses.
We also provide locksmith services to the public, ranging from home and vehicle lockouts to installing and replacing locks and supplying new keys. Our retail store offers security products, key cutting, and battery replacements for car keys and watches.
As a small, dedicated team, we are passionate, energetic, and hard-working. You'll be joining a close-knit group of four staff members, each playing a vital role in keeping the business moving forward.
Your Role
You will be expected to perform administrative tasks, including:
* Handling phone calls
* Responding to emails
* Logging customer and student information
* Generating invoices
* Tracking and following up on outstanding payments
* Gain a basic understanding of locksmithing and auto-locksmithing
* Assist in the retail store workshop, providing services like repairs and key cutting
* Manage and monitor stock levels
* Oversee our social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) and if experienced, edit and upload videos to our YouTube channel
* Contribute new ideas and suggestions to help grow the company
Qualifications
* English
* Mathematics
* IT
Experience
We prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in:
* Administrative work
* Customer service
* Social media management
* Video editing software (experience is a plus, but not essential)
