About the role
Our Governing Body is wishing to employ a Teaching Assistant to be located initially within EYFS, in support of a pupil with complex needs. Following a recent Educational Psychologist Report, we seek a warm, caring individual to share the role of supporting a child with a range of needs including communication, interaction and sensory needs. The appointed individual will support the learning and pastoral needs of the child and will work closely with school staff and parents.

Responsibilities and duties
* Support a pupil with complex needs within EYFS, contributing to learning and pastoral support.
* Work with school staff and parents to meet the pupil’s needs.
* Collaborate as part of a team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Qualifications and experience
* Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or above qualification
* Recent and relevant experience within the primary phase
* Motivated and enthusiastic about pupil’s learning
* Ability to contribute to and work collaboratively as part of a team
* Ability to inspire others and lead by example
* Commitment to raising standards of teaching, learning and achievement
* Friendly, approachable and flexible
* Organised with good interpersonal and communication skills
Salary and employment type
* Teaching Assistant: Grade 4 Scale Points 5-6 £24,790 – £25,183
* Pro-Rata: Approx £15,007 - £15,245
* Part-time, fixed-term
