Known for exceptional service delivery, compliance expertise, and a forward-thinking culture, they are now strengthening their commercial team with a driven Business Development Manager who can accelerate new client acquisition. The Role This is a pure new business role, ideal for someone energised by winning new clients and growing market share. You will be responsible for targeting recruitment agencies across the UK, promoting the companys value proposition, and building long-term strategic relationships. Following an initial onboarding and training period, the position becomes hybrid, offering flexibility and autonomy in how you manage your pipeline. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and win new partnerships with recruitment agencies. Promote the companys umbrella and contractor payroll solutions to decision-makers within the staffing sector. Develop and execute a strong sales strategy and activity plan. Attend client meetings, events, and networking opportunities (virtually and face-to-face). Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts. Work closely with the leadership team to support ongoing service improvements and market growth. About You To succeed in this role, you will need: Experience selling umbrella / contractor payroll services OR other recruitment industry services (e.g., back-office solutions, funding, software, compliance services, etc.). A proven track record of winning new business, ideally within the recruitment agency market. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A self-motivated, ambitious mindset with the resilience needed for a new business role. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
